One of my favorite year-round Halloween songs is “I Put a Spell on You” by Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, and made popular by Nina Simone and Creedence Clearwater Revival. The melody is great, the lyrics are catchy and the music is nice and gritty.

I’ve worked on a few versions of “I Put a Spell on You” and my buddy (and fellow artist), Mitch Parker, joined me on bass to make our own rendition of the song:
