Are you an artist or a writer and looking for a great way to spread your work to the masses? You might want to check out Emanata – a comic and visual story reader for the iPad that lets emerging visual storytellers show their work and interact with readers.”Some are funny, some sad, and some are quirky…but all are independently and lovingly made by some pretty amazing artists. All stories are free.”

Okay, so there’s also a chance you might run into some of my short comics on Emanata, as well. So what if I’m biased? The Emanata crew asked me to illustrate a few screens for the app, as well as an 11-page tutorial comic on what Emanata is and how it works for artists and readers. I’m really excited about Emanata and what it has to offer in the way of technology and social integration, making it easy to tweet about and email comics to friends, as well as to follow artists and their websites.

“If you are an artist yourself, we would like to feature your work on Emanata. Please send us an email at and we will be in touch.”

Find Emanata’s website here and download the free app here.
