Two big events happening this weekend: 24-Hour Comics Day, and the Teen Book Fest.
24-HOUR COMICS DAY
24-Hour Comics Day is an event held around the world which challenges writers and artists to create a full 24-page comic in 24 consecutive hours. Thousands of artists take the 24-Hour Comics Day Challenge every year! The fun starts tonight at 10pm and runs until 10pm tomorrow. Find a participating comic book shop near you to find out more.
TEEN BOOK FEST / ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE
Come join me tomorrow (Saturday, October 20) at the Provo Library for the Teen Book Fest! The theme is “Zombie Apocalypse” and the library has planned a bunch of fun activities, including: games, giveaways, prizes, book signings, costume contests, apocalyptic crafts and survival kits, martial arts training, a wall graphic novel and zombie haiku.
All activities and book signings are FREE and open to the public!
