Characters From My Book: Vermillion
Upside Down: A Vampire Tale comes out next month — just in time for Halloween! Pre-orders ship later this month, but in the meantime…meet Vermillion:
Vermillion is the last witch on Earth, which makes her extra nasty! Armed with a spell book written by Madame Rose, Vermillion is determined to get revenge on vampires everywhere and prove to the world that one witch can wreak all havoc imaginable.
Vermillion is one of the first characters I drew for the book, and I knew early on that she and Harold would eventually have to face-off (though I shouldn’t say too much about it now). What do you get when you cross a toothless vampire with the last witch on earth? Upside Down: A Vampire Tale!
