DRAWING TABLETS
Thanks to Drawn, I found Ray Frenden‘s incredible review of a new drawing tablet that could bury Wacom, if the word got out.
The tablet comes from Monospace, a company known for its electronics and computer accessories, but not as a player in the world of drawing tablets. As an experienced user of Yiynova, Cintiq and Intuos tablets, Ray seems to have a solid understand of what makes a good drawing tablet. It also helps that he’s a professional comics-maker and illustrator, with years of experience drawing with ink on paper.
Here is the tablet in action:
If you don’t have time to read Ray’s full review, you’ll want to know this: “After spending a week with the 6.25“x10” Monoprice, my Yiynova and Cintiq remain unplugged and I gave my Intuos away to a friend.”
